Lagos and Abuja is set to host “We Almost Forgot” Qudus Onikeku’s latest brainchild, this world class production features on stage 6 dancers and 1 actress, all of varied backgrounds and identities (Nigeria, Gabon, Morocco, Algeria, Madagascar & France). The 4 sold out show after the world premiere in Berlin, was greeted with thunderous applauds and standing ovations, the whole cast and crew are presently in Lagos, getting ready for the much awaited Lagos premiere. Never has Qudus, a world renowned Nigerian dance maker and choreographer, premiered his international works in Nigeria, through the active support of Goethe Institut, Bank of Industry, Institut Français and the German Embassy, this is made possible, not just in Lagos but equally in Abuja. The Lagos premiere shall be on the main stage at Freedom Park on Friday June 24, as an headliner at the Lagos Live Arts festival, while the Abuja show will be hosted at the prestigious National Universities Commission, on Sunday June 26.
